WOMEN'S DENIM NOUGHTIES NOSTALGIA

 

Inspired by Letty Ortiz in Fast & Furious, focusing on Letty’s factor in life, she resurrects from the dead without her memory or identity. She has suffered temporary amnesia. Her ability is the delicate balance between strength and fragility that lends an unexpected, but softer side of her. She’s rarely demonstrate actual weakness.

My Spring and Summer 2022 collection is also inspired by World’s Global Style Network Trend; “Women’s Denim Noughties Nostalgia”. My fabric selections were influenced by “the ups and downs of life with faded appearance and dark tones". It is made of 100% denim, stretchable denim and cotton blend in contact with simple garment structure and linework.

Overall, my collection is a contrast take on modern ready-to-wear Y2K garment pieces, with denim as my primary material of choice.
